EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Sarah Rehman is a personal trainer who has completed her undergraduate degree in Health Studies (BSc.) at the University of Waterloo. She specializes in providing clients with an understanding of the science behind their training program, the pain/tightness that they are experiencing, and their nutrition program. From the completion of countless Kinesiology courses at the University, Sarah is well trained in designing exercise programs, providing nutrition recommendations, and providing treatment strategies for the elimination of painful muscle, joint, and nerve issues. Sarah has learned from world-renowned researchers, and is especially passionate about working with clients who experience back pain. Sarah’s unique approach involves determining the cause of the pain and educating clients on how to eliminate the cause, while providing protective exercise and postural solutions that will prevent future pain.

PERSONAL TRAINING STYLE

Sarah began going to the University gym as she learned in class how important exercise is for protection against illnesses and injuries. A personal trainer at the University encouraged Sarah to start strength training and lifting weights - something that Sarah was uncomfortable trying on her own. She learned that she was capable of so much more than what she had ever imagined, and fell in love with the feeling of being able to accomplish goals that seem unimaginable. Sarah has continued strength training ever since then, with the goal of increasing strength in order to be able to lift heavier weights. Aside from heavy lifting, Sarah trains for muscular endurance as well, focusing on single arm and single leg exercises in order to protect against injury. Sarah practices cardiovascular training in order to maintain optimal health and her ability to participate in active hobbies.
